MJfam divided into several groups, and most seeing are Boycott or not Boycott $ony.
But that's not what I want to write here, I really disturbed by the words "Michael would do this" or "Michael wouldn't do that". Probably one's saying was right, "Michael would do this" and "Michael wouldn't do that", my question would be as simple as: "Do we ever ask ourselves?"
Especially when it followed with talking behind one's back, attacking someone, taking advantages of someone's mistakes, judging one another.... and most of it, put remarks "It's all for love"! Hm, or it should be: 'It's all for ME'..?
Anyway, when these statements "Michael would do this" or "Michael wouldn't do that" used to appoint someone or some group(s), do we ever ask ourselves: "Would Michael appoint like that?" He said by himself: "It starts with us...us, or it'll never be done." ~Michael Jackson~
Hey, we all know "Man In the Mirror", Let's read it's lyrics, let's read it carefully... read it with our heart...
Gotta make a change
For once in my life
It's gonna feel real good
Gonna make a difference
Gonna make it right
....
I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make a change,
You gotta get it right, while you got the time
'Cause when you close your heart
Then you close your mind
And he even emphasized this song in his biography, Moonwalk which he wrote: "Start with the man in the mirror. Start with yourself. Don't be looking at all the other things. Start with YOU." ~ Michael Jackson ~
Michael said, "My character has plenty to say", as plenty as only God and Mike himself who understand him very well.
Again,
Probably one's saying was right, "Michael would do this" and "Michael wouldn't do that", my question would be as simple as: "Do we ever ask ourselves?"
When these statements "Michael would do this" or "Michael wouldn't do that" uses to appoint someone or some group(s), do we ever ask ourselves: "Would Michael appoint like that?"
"Start with the man in the mirror. Start with yourself. Don't be looking at all the other things. Start with YOU." ~ Michael Jackson ~
Remember Eminem's video?
Here is Michael's respond in an interview with Geraldo Rivera (2005)
GR: But not to Eminem. We’ve spoken about it. I think that you should. Why not?
MJ: And what’s your question?
GR: Stevie Wonder said that he was piling on and how really rude it was for someone who made his money from the community to ‘diss the community in a sense in a racist and, I’ve said it, very bold faced, bigoted presentation. Tell us how that hurt you and how you’re feeling about it now.
MJ: I’ve never met Mr. Eminem, and I’ve always admired him and to have him do something like that was pretty painful as an artist to another artist and it’s sad because I think what Stevie Wonder said is true, I just don’t want to say too much more than that. He (Eminem) should be ashamed of himself what he’s doing. Stevie said he’s bulls***. He used the word. That’s what he said. I’m not saying it, Stevie said it. Stevie’s amazing. He’s one of the sweetest men in the world.
And, also another from another article says:
Jackson also called in to "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" on Los Angeles radio station KKBT-FM on Tuesday to complain. "I've never had a problem with Eminem," Jackson told Harvey, saying that he felt "appalled" and "angry" at his depiction in the video. "I've admired Eminem as an artist, and was shocked by this," Jackson said. "The video was inappropriate and disrespectful to me, my children, my family and the community at large."
=> Yupe, without talking behind one's back, without attacking, without taking advantages of someone's mistakes, without judging.... and most of it, no need to put remarks "It's all for love" because what he said and what he did was very obvious that he never wanted any enemy.
"Start with the man in the mirror. Start with yourself. Don't be looking at all the other things. Start with YOU." ~ Michael Jackson ~
